Zombie is a new album by Sexy Girls. Sexy Girls is Alex Whitelaw’s solo moniker. His band, Turkey Shoot, has long been an underhyped favorite in the Belgian Man archives. Zombie combines Turkey Shoot’s bouncy energy with a more pared-down sound: Alex plays all instruments on the album himself.
If you’re a fan of Turkey Shoot, this record will not disappoint. If you aren’t a fan of Turkey Shoot, it’s probably just because you haven’t heard them yet, and you’ll perhaps become one after listening to this album.
